AMA Finance and Data Masterclass
Facilitated by the Australian Institute of Health Executives
This masterclass teaches doctors and healthcare leaders a step-by-step approach to understanding healthcare finance data that is not just theoretical. The class aims to equip clinical leaders to confidently participate in, and meaningfully contribute, to budget preparations and operational performance analysis.
Facilitated by practicing healthcare leaders with over 40 years frontline clinical experience in both private and public healthcare sectors, participants will gain the practical know-how to successfully navigate the world of healthcare finance and data.
This 2 hour masterclass is designed clinicians, doctors, managers and healthcare leaders wanting to build their capability in interpreting finance and data. Clinicians will learn to:
- understand the fundamentals of healthcare finance and the role of data in your organisation
- identify and interpret key data points reflecting operational performance
- identify KPIs to have in your toolkit: how to monitor, improve & influence financial and data-based discussion.
Participants who successfully complete the Finance and Data masterclass will receive the AIHE Certificate in Finance & Data for Healthcare Leaders.
